i've been running production premium on new windows 7 64bit, 6gb i7 system several weeks , haven't had issues exporting media encoder.   i installed trial version of dreamweaver without of add-on's thought might mess licensed installation.   every attempt export -> media -> queue get's following error in ameencodingerrorlog.txt   - source file: c:\users\rob\appdata\local\temp\someproject.prproj - output file: c:\users\rob\videos\someproject.mov - preset used: custom - video: - audio: - bitrate: - encoding time: 00:00:00 7/8/2010 10:14:34 : encoding failed ------------------------------------------------- encode failed because source duration nil.   doing export directly pp works without error, don't want wait each export complete.   any ideas other reinstall pp?   tia i noticed range selector triangles right next each other.   changed source range: work area   not sure why default set 0 range. doesn't remember last setting when selec...

i cannot find variations in either 64 or 32 bit ps cs5 mac. pc friends belongs in both, in adjustments menu.   what happened it?   tia,   bill hi:   adjustment>variations listed grayed out 16 bit images or when using photoshop in 64 bit mode, option unlisted.  translation...you can have adjustment>variations available 8 bit images in 32 bit photoshop mode.   herman r. i've found captivate 5 incredibly , unworkably slow, both on home pc (e8400 core 2 duo, 6gb ram) , on work pc (same cpu, 2gb ram).   it's slower captivate 4 , i'm working tight deadlines, captivate 5 won't do.   can still purchase captivate 4 somewhere.  really, i'm looking download purchase since having today rather buying disc online , having wait delivered (i've used 30 days of captivate 4  trial , captivate 5 terrible).   any suggestions great. cheers,   roc that's odd. running cp 5 on machine , way faster cp 4. running windows 7 64 bit. i had issue , called adobe support. since upgraded win 7, had reinstall everything. fine, silly me forgot version of quicktime recommended adobe , cs4. know date version not recommended. @ least phone represenattive told me. pointed me earlier version. know quicktime version recommended , can download it?   just wanted check before forced call again! you can download version of quicktime here: http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime   i'm running quicktime 7.6.6 after effects , premiere pro. i've noticed no problems version.   > know date version not recommended. @ least phone represenattive told me.   did why?
