i had reinstall acrobat 8 onto new computer. when attaempting create pdf file word document, got following error message: "missing pdfmaker files. want run installer in repair mode?" run installer in repair mode , error not corrected. can me here? thank you. what os , version of ms office?   have checked see if acrobat 8 supports os , version of ms office? first off, cs 4 works fine, on cs 5 when start enlarge brush tool after particular size, 125%, edges start disapear. it looks round circle defining brush disapear in segments larger go, until totally gone. still works, outling gone. also problem #2. if use windows red x in upper right hand corner of photoshop close message did not close , want send message microsoft. choose no. next time open cs 5 preferences default setting. as said earlier, have none of these problems cs4. beta tester cs 5, don't know if of old program has been left behind when downloaded cs 5 or what. driving me crazy. any help thanks gary n helfrich litchfield, il. hello, in need use cisco vpn. installed network-manager-vpnc, configured cisco vpn through networkmanager. works slow, bigger problem after minute or connection freezes. tried kvpnc. works should speed point of view. hangs after minute or two. tried change mtu of wired connection 1500 - no good. tried uncomment line in /etc/ppp/options "mru 542" - no good. created /var/run/vpnc because giving error "can't open pidfile /var/run/vpnc/pid writing". logs seems fine except "nm-dispatcher.action: script '/etc/networkmanager/dispatcher.d/01ifupdown' exited error status 1." in last line. if use kvpnc gives no errors. so, how debug thing or knows don't in case? router's fault? thanks. -- ubuntu 10.04 x64, 2.6.32-24-generic hi, maybe have same problem mine. check: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...highlight=vpnc cashy ...

i take opportunity submit feature request make possible preview how preset on second monitor. stands can preview effect in small image above preset list. unfortunately can difficult judge effect preset have on image because of relatively small image previewing on.   it sooo nice able see preview on second monitor, , cut down on number of times preset applied , removed because didn't how looked when seen on larger image.       btw, making possible in lr3 filter and/or create smart folders based on focal length. appreciated!   regards, jml                              More discussions in Lightroom Feature Requests adobe
