greetings, i'm attempting create tv capture solution website i'm working on. have ubuntu box crappy pinnacle tv capture card plugged in. after mucking drivers , codecs got card work in ubuntu mythtv , mplayer can watch cable tv through capture card. couldn't ffmpeg work because couldn't figure out command line option set tuner channel in mplayer -tv channel=4:norm=ntsc. problem have both conceptual , technical. basically, using single tv capture input need able record, , stream live (via flash or webm). best tool/methodology accomplishing task? mythtv? vlc? ffmpeg? mplayer? in addition, whole system needs be, somewhat, command line driven (or @ least database driven), can control action externally through cms. first attempt using mythtv. problem ran couldn't figure out way stream online live in flash format. second attempt using mencoder , stream file (while being generated) on internet using red5. yet, while thinking it, if view stream ...

our business trying convert our coupon processes pagemaker 5.0/infopublisher/pagemaker 6.0 indesign cs2.   i understand how open pm 6.0 file in indesign cs2, not issue. the issue placing/importing our database files work in same way have been doing.   we receive database file [.dbf] contains variable data text for (customer) , (purchase) this coupon must presented , expires mm/dd/yy client number the tiff file path (individual coupons designs exportred as [.tiffs] )   files set , defined using infopublisher [.pa2] place file [.an2] answer table file   this our process set step. 1) query & create [.dbf] 2) open pm 5.0 , open coupon template file 3) place [.pa2] file 4) variable data [.dbf] placed around coresponding [.tiffs] clients coupons 5) save pm 5.0 file 6) open file in pm 6.0 print (print quality better in pm 6.0)   any idea on how repeat same process in indesign using variable data , tiffs? is data merge sophisticated enough? if not, there ...

i know if 1 of have ever encounter problem. have created master page in dreamweaver. css layout. in master page have right side bar css simple menu picture background. when do: create new page master page, page appears had lost background of right side bar. master page still have it. don't know why, wondering if ever had problem.   thanks lot   eric eric, if have saved "master page" template, have background-image declared in head of document (embedded stylesheet), move embedded styles external style sheet , link stylesheet template. background-image should show appropriately in child pages.   if copying "master page," link background-image might end incorrect, depending on save page. external stylesheet save this.   beth More discussions in Dreamweaver support forum adobe

hello, running ubuntu 10.04 desktop in virtual machine. trying use remote network feature gives me strange behavior. if have started built-in ubuntu remote desktop. want connect mac os x snow leopard screen sharing feature ubuntu. works not desktop emtpy desktop default background, no icons , no task panel. can use mouse on macos not move (visibly) on ubuntu desktop. if click recognized ubuntu (menu opens, or webpage changes). have tried "chicken of vnc" client has same behavior. have suggestion wrong? think more problem of settings real error.
